Oxford League of Woman Voters Annual Convention. The Oxford chapter of the League of Woman Voters is getting fired up for our 64th Local Convention, on Wednesday, April 19, at 7:30 p.m., in the Undercroft of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Oxford.

Why are we fired up? We know we have vital work to do in living out our Mission -- Making Democracy Work! We are ready to work with other Leagues on the "Fair Districts=Fair Elections" petitioning campaign, aimed at redrawing district lines for Congressional Districts in Ohio, reducing gerrymandering, and resulting in a fairer election process throughout our state. We also are involved in local issues, including our natural resources and other concerns of our civic life. These points and others will be part of the discussion at our Convention, so please be sure to attend and participate!

Click here to get the Convention Packet. Print it out and bring it with you to the Convention, so you can follow along with the proceedings. League members, please wear your name tags.

We will also be electing new officers for some positions. The Slate for the Election is as follows:

  • Co-President for Voter Services -- Prue Dana, 2017-2018
  • Directors of Portfolios, 2017-2019

Please join us at the Convention to help scope out our plans for the coming year, enjoy tasty refreshments, and "Make Democracy Work" in one of the best non-partisan organizations in the entire nation!
