Public Meeting on Issue 1: Ohio Congressional Fair Districts Reform. Please join us for a discussion of Issue 1, Ohio Congressional Fair Districts Reform. Our guest speaker will be voting rights advocate Camille Wimbish, Esq.

The Ohio Congressional Fair Districts Reform proposal will be on the state-wide ballot for the May 8, 2018, primary election. If approved by voters, Congressional Fair Districts Reform will change how voting districts for Ohio U.S. Congressional elections are drawn. The League of Women Voters of Ohio, under the banner "Fair Districts/Fair Elections," has been a leader in this effort to end gerrymandering in Ohio.

Wimbish is the election administration director for Ohio Voice, a non-profit organization focused on empowering underrepresented communities. She holds a bachelor's degree from Smith College and a juris doctorate from The Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law. Her work involves lobbying the state legislature to protect voting rights, organizing state-wide election protection efforts and providing voter-engagement training for non-profit organizations.
